Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – RSL CPP

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will ensure the reliability and integrity of all mechanical equipment in the plant. The role involves planning, executing, and supervising preventive and predictive maintenance activities while adhering to safety policies and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance following established policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with Production, Technology, and CES teams.
• Create resourcing plans for routine maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Collect mechanical performance data, monitor KPIs, and report deviations to lead maintenance.
• Plan and control inventory of mechanical spares, issue parts for jobs, and support procurement activities.
• Prepare maintenance cost estimates, assist budgeting, and analyze expenditures for efficient utilization.
• Supervise and execute maintenance tasks with a focus on quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Analyze equipment condition, identify irregularities, and implement corrective actions to improve availability.
• Carry out preservation activities and manage shutdown execution according to schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial plant.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with KPI monitoring and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory control and spare parts management.
• Understanding of safety guidelines and budgetary constraints.
