Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will support the reliability and integrity of all mechanical equipment in the plant. The role involves planning, executing, and supervising predictive and preventive maintenance activities while complying with company policies, safety standards, and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance following established policies, processes, and SOPs.
• Create and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with Production, Technology, and CES teams.
• Develop resourcing plans for routine maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Collect mechanical discipline data, monitor KPIs, and report performance to senior maintenance leadership.
• Plan and control inventory of mechanical spares, issue parts for jobs, and support procurement activities.
• Assist in preparing maintenance cost budgets and analyze expenditures for efficient utilization.
• Supervise and execute mechanical maintenance tasks ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize production and quality losses.
• Analyze equipment condition, monitor performance trends, and implement corrective actions to improve availability.
• Carry out preservation activities and manage shutdown job execution according to schedule.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical maintenance of plant equipment.
• Ability to follow company policies, safety guidelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Capability to develop maintenance schedules and resource plans.
