Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of all mechanical equipment in the plant. The role involves planning, executing, and supervising preventive and predictive maintenance activities while adhering to safety guidelines and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance following company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Create and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with production, technology, and CES teams.
• Develop resourcing plans for routine maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Collect mechanical performance data, monitor KPIs, and report deviations to senior maintenance leadership.
• Plan and control inventory of mechanical spares, issue parts for jobs, and support procurement activities.
• Prepare maintenance cost estimates, assist budgeting, and analyze expenditures for efficient utilization.
• Supervise and execute maintenance tasks to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Analyze equipment condition, identify irregularities, and implement corrective actions to improve availability.
• Perform preservation activities and manage shutdown execution according to schedule.
