Mechanical & Electrical Engineer – Inspection Specialist

About the role

We are seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to lead inspection activities across multiple sites in Gujarat, India. The role focuses on ensuring product quality and compliance through rigorous vendor inspections, hands‑on testing, and detailed reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review vendor inspection records and verify compliance with quality plans.
• Witness and conduct inspections on mechanical and electrical components.
• Monitor supplier capabilities and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and related documentation.
• Coordinate inspection activities with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Degree with 7+ years of experience or Diploma with 10+ years in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• For Mechanical Inspectors: NDT certification (SNT‑TC‑1A) covering UT, RT, MPT, LPT, VT, with at least 3 years hands‑on NDT experience.
• Valid eye‑vision certificate confirming no color blindness.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical items (castings, forgings, valves, pressure vessels, pumps, blowers, tanks, fasteners, machined components, gaskets, gear units) and electrical items (transformers, motors, panels, cables, switchboards, actuators, CT/PT, copper conductors, instrumentation, electrical packages).
