Materials Planning Contractual Role – Night Shifts (10‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Materials Planning professional for a 10‑month contractual assignment. The role operates on a flexible shift schedule, including night shifts, to support our high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end materials planning to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Ensure material availability and kit readiness for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and resolve material shortages by coordinating with procurement and sourcing teams.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives, handling excess, obsolete, MRB, and slow‑moving stock.
• Analyze customer forecasts and align supply plans with demand requirements.
• Oversee work orders and production build plans to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Support BOM and ECO change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in material, supply, or production planning.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and MPS concepts.
• Experience in a manufacturing, EMS, or electronics environment.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑volume settings.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP, Oracle or BAAN ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar planning tools.
• Expertise in inventory management and optimization.
• Demand planning, forecast analysis and normalization.
• Understanding of BOM and ECO lifecycle management.
