Market Research Analyst – AI‑Enabled Insights

About the role

Zafin is seeking a Market Research Analyst to join its Market Intelligence team in Chennai/Trivandrum. You will work with AI‑enabled research workflows to deliver decision‑ready intelligence that shapes product, marketing and sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Run and improve AI‑enabled research workflows, maintaining continuous coverage of priority markets.
• Automate research intake by building pipelines that ingest analyst reports, earnings calls, regulatory filings and other market sources.
• Validate AI‑generated research against primary sources, ensuring accuracy and proper citation.
• Track competitor positioning, product releases, partnerships, acquisitions and go‑to‑market activity.
• Develop strategic account intelligence, creating automated profiles of target institutions.
• Translate industry, regulatory and competitive trends into clear briefs for product, marketing, sales and executive audiences.
• Support go‑to‑market initiatives with market sizing, segmentation and buyer insights.
• Build reusable research capabilities, prioritising scalable automations over one‑off solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, economics, computer science or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, strategy consulting or a similar analytical role.
• Preferred experience in a Big Four firm, strategy consulting, market research organisation or technology company.
