Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The E2S Manufacturing Engineer develops, enables, and sustains repair solutions for semiconductor equipment and spare parts across Applied Global Services. This role bridges engineering, operations, supply chain, product support, and quality to ensure repair capabilities are standardized and ready for global deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement repair solutions, including BOMs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Validate product structures and manage engineering change requests within ERP and PLM systems.
• Assess facility requirements, lead manufacturing readiness, and coordinate cross‑functional infrastructure needs.
• Design, specify, and validate tooling, fixtures, and test methods for repair processes.
• Develop packaging solutions and support logistics for repaired products.
• Conduct failure analysis, drive corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create training materials and deliver technical training for global repair teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in manufacturing, repair engineering, process or product engineering.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of engineering change management (ECR/ECO) and product configuration.
