Electrical Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical assemblies that support cutting‑edge semiconductor and display equipment. You will apply technical expertise and critical thinking to advance products that enable AI and next‑generation chips.

Key responsibilities

• Design and modify electrical or electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, and specifications of complex scope.
• Identify and troubleshoot a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers and procurement of critical components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in electrical engineering design, analysis, or troubleshooting.

Required skills

• Electrical design and schematic creation.
• Complex problem solving and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Engineering analysis and test report generation.
