Managing Principal – Banking Transformation & Team Leadership

About the role

As a Managing Principal at Capco, you will lead large‑scale banking transformation programmes for Tier 1 clients, drive client growth and shape strategic direction across operations and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage C‑level relationships, support origination and closing of transformation deals, and define account growth strategy.
• Lead multi‑year transformation programmes, design target operating models, and ensure delivery excellence through governance and KPI tracking.
• Build and scale high‑performing consulting teams in Chennai and across India, overseeing capability development and workforce planning.
• Drive revenue growth, utilisation, margin improvement and maintain strong financial governance across engagements.

Required profile

• 15+ years of consulting experience in financial services, with senior leadership experience (Director/Managing Principal).
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale operations, technology or data transformation programmes.
• Experience working across global delivery models and strong network within the Indian banking ecosystem.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in banking transformation, operations or technology.
• Experience in target operating model design and implementation.
• Understanding of workforce transformation, automation and AI impact.
