Manager – QA Automation – Data & Analytics Advisory

About the role

PWC is seeking a Manager to lead QA automation for its Data, Analytics & Advisory practice in Bengaluru. You will ensure data‑intensive systems deliver accurate, reliable information by designing and executing robust test strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead test strategies for data‑intensive systems, aligning with quality and compliance goals.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Guide a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation, data validation, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams in Agile environments to ensure end‑to‑end quality.
• Report QA metrics and provide risk‑based recommendations for release readiness.
• Stay current with testing trends, including AI‑powered automation tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of production experience building test automation frameworks with Playwright.
• Strong background in ETL testing, data quality assurance, and SQL.
• Experience with ETL tools and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Proven ability to lead QA teams and work in Agile delivery models.
