Manager – GTM Strategy Consulting – Advisory (Gurgaon)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead GTM (Go‑to‑Market) strategy consulting within its Advisory practice in Gurgaon. The role focuses on advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, helping them translate market insights into actionable deal strategies. You will work closely with senior partners to shape client engagements, develop strategic recommendations and ensure successful execution of complex transactions. The position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of industries and the opportunity to influence high‑impact business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, competitive dynamics and regulatory environments to identify growth opportunities for clients.
• Develop and present strategic frameworks, go‑to‑market plans and investment theses for M&A, divestiture and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risks, model financial outcomes and design value‑creation initiatives.
• Support senior partners in client engagements, from initial opportunity assessment through deal execution.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to thought‑leadership content within the deals practice.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in professional services or corporate strategy, preferably within deals, corporate or digital strategy.
• Proven ability to structure complex problems and deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Experience with corporate strategy, market entry, go‑to‑market and transformation projects.
• Strong communication and client‑management skills.
