Manager – Cost Reduction – Automotive Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead cost‑reduction initiatives within its Automotive Advisory practice in Mumbai. The role combines operations consulting expertise with deep industry knowledge to help clients improve efficiency, productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client operations and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Design and implement operational strategies that deliver measurable performance improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and manage stakeholder relationships up to the CXO level.
• Provide guidance on process optimisation, productivity gains and business transformation.
• Ensure delivery of tangible value and track project outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation abilities with experience engaging senior executives.
• Proven analytical capability and a track record of delivering concrete results.
• High integrity, commercial acumen and business insight.
• Willingness to travel up to 70‑80 % of the time and adapt to client sites.
