Maintenance Technician (PMS)

About the role

Swish is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to execute preventive maintenance schedules and keep all facility equipment running safely and reliably. You will work on a variety of systems in a fast‑growing food‑delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) tasks.
• Inspect, service and maintain refrigeration units, diesel‑generator (DG) sets, HVAC, electrical panels, conveyors and other plant equipment.
• Record all maintenance actions, readings and observations in the maintenance register or system.
• Detect equipment faults, wear and tear, and potential breakdown risks before they become critical.
• Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs; coordinate major repairs with external vendors.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and raise purchase indents as needed.
• Ensure all work follows safety standards, company protocols and supports audit compliance.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise operational downtime.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or a related trade.
• 1–3+ years of experience in facility, equipment, warehouse, manufacturing or cold‑chain maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Comfortable working shifts, including weekends when required.
• Ability to read and write maintenance records and checklists accurately.
