Maintenance Engineering Specialist – Relocation to Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a senior Maintenance Engineering Specialist to join the Maintenance Solution Department (MSD) within Global Manufacturing Excellence. This permanent full‑time expatriate position is based in Saudi Arabia and includes an attractive relocation package.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance processes, management strategies, and work‑performance plans aligned with corporate requirements.
• Conduct maintenance health assessments, including preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) strategies, organization structure analysis, manpower and cost studies.
• Perform data‑driven benchmarking of maintenance performance, covering spending analysis, effectiveness, wrench‑time, SAP taxonomy, planning & scheduling, personnel competency, budgeting, and RAM modeling.
• Prepare regular maintenance performance reports and KPI reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Support line maintenance teams in applying approved programs such as TPRM and reliability models.
• Design alternative parts or systems in collaboration with engineering and vendors for new equipment prototypes.
• Represent MSD on committees, task groups, and ad‑hoc teams.
• Identify work that can be outsourced and develop appropriate scopes of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the downstream oil & gas sector.
• Proven technical competence in maintenance program development and risk‑based processes.
