Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Hamilton Houseware Private Limited is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Engineer to join its Haridwar facility. The role focuses on keeping production equipment and utility systems running safely and efficiently, supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, documenting all activities.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with production teams and support equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial plant maintenance, preferably in consumer‑goods or houseware production.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout, and quality/compliance standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings, use maintenance tools and instrumentation, and work in a fast‑paced on‑site environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and effective communication with cross‑functional teams.
