Loss Prevention Officer – Hotel Security

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and assets at the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. Working full‑time on‑site, you will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and control access to rooms and restricted zones.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and lock property entrances when required.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and escort unwelcome persons.
• Prepare incident reports, loss‑prevention shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all records.
• Assist guests, especially those with disabilities, and ensure a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Strong observational skills and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company policies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
