Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate ensures the safety of guests, employees, and assets within the hospitality district. This full‑time, on‑site position involves proactive patrols, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all property areas and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and handle emergencies.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Support guest services by welcoming guests, assisting individuals with disabilities, and addressing service needs.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements where applicable.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
