Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for safeguarding guests, employees and assets within a hospitality environment. Working full‑time on‑site, you will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock and unlock property entrances as required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Handle guest or employee disturbances, defuse conflicts and call for external assistance when needed.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Escort unwelcome persons and support emergency evacuation procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear, professional communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies and move at a required speed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
