Logistics Executive

About the role

The Logistics Executive will lead outbound logistics operations, ensuring shipments are dispatched on time and in compliance with documentation and packing standards. You will support strategic planning, drive continuous improvement, and develop the logistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and develop departmental work processes.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in outbound logistics.
• Provide training, coaching, and supervision to logistics staff.
• Plan and achieve turnaround times for all shipments.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, packing guidelines, and GST e‑way bill requirements.
• Coordinate with service providers on logistics services and rate contracts.
• Dispatch shipments to meet PORs of various business units.
• Manage drop‑shipment processes and resolve bottlenecks.
• Analyze logistics problems and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of proven experience in outbound logistics, transport management and documentation.
• Strong ability to build effective teams and communicate with diverse partners.
• Results‑oriented with a focus on on‑time deliveries.
• Analytical mindset to diagnose problems before proposing solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent.
