Logistics Driver (Food Transport)

About the role

The Logistics Driver is responsible for the safe, timely and efficient movement of food materials, supplies, equipment and other company items between the central kitchen, outlets, warehouses, vendors and designated locations across Bangalore.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles on assigned routes while adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
• Load, transport and unload food, raw materials, packaging and equipment, ensuring items are in good condition.
• Verify quantities and condition of goods before loading and after delivery, obtaining required signatures or confirmations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documents, invoices, challans and acknowledgment records.
• Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, lights, brakes) and report any breakdowns, accidents or maintenance needs immediately.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in proper working order.
• Record fuel usage, kilometres travelled and vehicle‑related expenses.
• Coordinate with outlet, warehouse, kitchen and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities as needed and undertake any other duties directed by management.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence for the vehicle category assigned.
• 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in logistics, food service, FMCG or a similar industry.
• Good knowledge of Bangalore routes and surrounding areas.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
