Logistics Coordinator – International & Domestic Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage and support both international and domestic logistics operations. The role will focus on coordinating export shipments from India to the United States and other destinations, while also overseeing India‑based transportation and import activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international export shipments from India to the United States and other global markets.
• Support domestic transportation operations in India and manage import processes.
• Prepare, review and maintain import/export documentation (e.g., commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, AWB, bill of lading, shipping bill, E‑way bills).
• Arrange bookings and pickups with freight forwarders, airlines, shipping lines and road transport partners.
• Monitor cargo transit, ensure on‑time delivery and resolve any shipment delays or logistics issues.
• Work closely with customs house agents to secure smooth customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
• Handle shipping escalations, customs delays and delivery issues, communicating promptly with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation records for internal audit and regulatory requirements.
• Provide freight quotations, tariff estimates, route planning and transit‑time analysis for costing and operations teams.
• Coordinate with internal warehouse and 3PL partners to ensure efficient receiving, storage, packing and dispatch.
• Analyze on‑time delivery performance and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international logistics, export/import documentation and freight coordination.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Effective communication with internal teams, logistics partners and customs agents.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
