Litigation Advocate – 5+ Years Experience

About the role

Kshetry & Co. is expanding its litigation team and seeks a dedicated Advocate with at least five years of independent court practice. The role involves handling a wide range of civil and criminal matters across the Supreme Court, High Courts, and lower tribunals.

Key responsibilities

• Appear in courts and manage matters from filing to final disposal.
• Draft petitions, applications, affidavits, legal notices, and other court documents.
• Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and brief senior counsel.
• Present arguments, conduct hearings, and move matters forward.
• Coordinate with clients, prepare case files, and ensure compliance with deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of independent litigation experience.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
• Experience with SLP, writ petitions, CRR, CRM, CO, PIL, police inaction matters, and other civil/criminal filings.
• Proven ability to handle cases from inception to disposal.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of court procedures and litigation practice.
• Excellent drafting and legal research abilities.
• Professional communication and strict adherence to deadlines.
