About the role

Manoj Harit & Co., a litigation‑focused law firm in Mumbai, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its team. The role involves handling day‑to‑day litigation and advisory work for matters before the Bombay High Court and other forums, with regular court appearances and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, petitions, written submissions and legal opinions for the Bombay High Court and other forums.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research and prepare case strategies.
• Review documents, coordinate with clients for instructions and updates, and prepare case files.
• Appear in court, attend conferences with counsel and manage case timelines.
• Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and maintain accurate case records.

Required profile

• LL.B. (or equivalent) from a recognized institution and enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
• Proven experience in litigation practice, preferably before High Courts, handling hearings and case strategy.
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and preferably Hindi/Marathi.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high‑intensity environment.
• Professional ethics, confidentiality and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Familiarity with basic document management tools.
• Experience using online legal research databases.
