Legal Counsel – Customer Contracts

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to independently review and negotiate IT contracts across the Americas, including the US, Canada, and LATAM. The role involves handling procurement‑side agreements as well as customer‑side contracts, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements, SOWs, Partner, Reseller, Teaming and Rainmaker Agreements.
• Coordinate with procurement, business, delivery and legal teams to close transactions.
• Prepare monthly transaction reports and present findings to management.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial and operational risks.
• Provide legal support for ongoing contract management and work with external counsel.
• Lead discussions with internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout the contracting process.
• Mentor junior lawyers and manage legal projects assigned by senior counsel.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in contract negotiation, preferably in IT outsourcing and related contracts.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external parties.
• Experience guiding junior legal staff.
