Legal Associate – Real Estate & Property Law (Marathi)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Legal Associate fluent in Marathi to support our real‑estate and property law practice in Maharashtra. The role involves handling title verification, drafting a variety of property documents, and conducting thorough legal due diligence for land acquisitions and disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal due diligence for agricultural and non‑agricultural lands, preparing title search reports and certificates.
• Interpret and apply key Maharashtra land legislations such as the Land Revenue Code, Tenancy & Agricultural Land Act, MOFA, and RERA.
• Draft and review property‑related documents including Agreements for Sale, Sale Deeds, Powers of Attorney, Joint Venture and Development Agreements.
• Analyze land records (7/12 extracts, mutation entries, 8A forms) and assist with online title verification, stamp duty payments, and document registration.
• Manage litigation related to land and real‑estate disputes.
• Perform legal research on statutes, case law, and government policies.
• Maintain organized digital and physical legal filing systems.
• Prepare and update Legal MIS statements on a weekly and monthly basis.

Required profile

• Law graduate with 1‑3 years of experience in real‑estate or property law.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and typing Marathi.
• Familiarity with legal databases and research tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
