Lead Technology Risk Analyst

About the role

The Lead Technology Risk Analyst will drive the implementation and execution of technology risk management, governance, and operational resilience programs across Mastercard's technology organization. This senior position partners with product, engineering, security and business teams to ensure risks are identified, assessed, mitigated and reported effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of technology risk programs across products, platforms and services.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring and escalation.
• Drive adoption of risk frameworks, policies and standards across engineering teams.
• Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, operational readiness evaluations and governance activities.
• Monitor risk indicators, control metrics and remediation activities to surface emerging risks.
• Develop executive‑ready reporting, risk summaries and governance materials.
• Coordinate risk governance forums and track action items.
• Support audit, regulatory and compliance activities with evidence collection and remediation planning.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technology risk management, operational risk, governance, controls or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks, assessment methodologies and operational resilience principles.
• Proven ability to communicate technology and operational risks in a clear, business‑focused manner.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience delivering executive‑level reporting and risk intelligence presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills
