Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

About the role

NeoHPC is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the Kubernetes‑based platform that powers its GPU‑focused neocloud offering. This remote senior role combines deep technical expertise with hands‑on leadership to build reliable, observable, and scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production‑grade Kubernetes clusters across bare‑metal and edge environments.
• Develop tooling for provisioning, upgrades, scaling, security, observability, and troubleshooting.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation pipelines for repeatable deployments.
• Architect and manage Kubernetes networking, ingress, DNS, service discovery, load balancing, and network policies.
• Design and operate storage solutions, including persistent volumes and CSI‑based systems.
• Diagnose complex issues spanning Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, virtualization, and physical hardware.
• Build internal platform services that improve reliability and developer experience.
• Establish standards, operational practices, and reliability mechanisms while making pragmatic trade‑offs.
• Provide technical leadership and shape overall platform architecture.

Required profile

• 9+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven production experience designing and operating large‑scale Kubernetes environments.
• Strong Linux systems troubleshooting and automation skills.
• Ability to own problems from architecture through production and guide teams.
