Lead Business Development

About the role

Swiggy is seeking a dynamic Lead Business Development professional to drive the expansion of its restaurant, bar, and venue network across key cities. You will be responsible for identifying high‑potential partners, curating event‑driven pipelines, and ensuring seamless onboarding and ongoing engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard high‑potential restaurants, bars, and venues with strong event and experiential offerings.
• Drive city‑level supply expansion by curating pipelines of upcoming restaurant events and nightlife experiences.
• Maintain partner readiness through complete listing hygiene, including visuals, pricing, logistics, and terms.
• Develop and scale owned IPs for seasonal campaigns, experience nights, and thematic dining formats.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams for branding, promotions, and on‑ground execution.
• Manage and grow relationships with top restaurant partners to secure exclusive listings, upsell opportunities, and sustained engagement.
• Conduct business reviews, performance tracking, and strategic input sessions with key accounts.
• Add music, stand‑up comics, and other relevant IP artists to the platform.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in event partnerships, F&B sales, hospitality, or account management.
• Prior exposure to the food industry, especially restaurants, nightlife, or event ticketing.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to onboard top‑tier partners.
