Lead BPA Finance (Global Finance)

About the role

The Lead BPA Finance will own Business Process Automation (BPA) responsibilities for a $740 million Global Finance Function. Reporting to the Finance BPA Senior Manager, the role provides analytical insight, cost‑base management and business partnering across multiple finance sub‑functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and preparation of detailed budgets, financial forecasts and strategic plans for the Finance Function.
• Manage execution of finance sub‑function strategies, ensuring timely implementation of BPA processes, policies and compliance.
• Deliver core management reporting and financial planning, providing recurring and ad‑hoc insights through complex cost analysis across regions.
• Proactively drive performance, conducting value‑added analyses on functional expenses, other income/expenses and end‑to‑end finance partnering.
• Collaborate with finance sub‑function leaders to align performance with budgets and targets.
• Perform month‑close variance analysis, prepare executive decks and ensure a consolidated view of the Finance Function during planning and closing cycles.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 10+ years of finance experience within the pharmaceutical industry at both country and HQ levels.
• Strong sense of urgency, ability to handle confidential matters and work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across a matrix organization.
