Laser Cutting Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our production team in Muzaffarpur. The successful candidate will operate laser cutting equipment, interpret technical drawings, and prepare cutting files to meet daily production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand engineering and technical drawings to set up cutting layouts.
• Prepare, modify, and convert CAD drawings into machine‑readable programs using AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Set machine parameters based on material type, thickness, and specifications.
• Perform precise cuts, inspect material quality, and ensure dimensions meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic machine and cutting issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to production schedules.
• Collaborate with Production and Design teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification (preferred).
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience operating laser cutting machines.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D for drawing preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
• Understanding of CNC/laser cutting processes and machine settings.
• Attention to measurements, dimensions, and quality control.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety‑conscious attitude.
