Lab Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Lab Team Leader to head a group of chemists and engineers at our Innovation Campus in Navi Mumbai. The role involves driving research projects from concept to pilot‑scale while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership to the laboratory team, organizing workflow and coordinating with pilot‑plant activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products, patents and literature to propose new product ideas.
• Define, initiate and lead customer‑focused projects and product development initiatives.
• Track project milestones, document progress and facilitate technology transfer to production units.
• Maintain compliance with working‑security and environmental policies, conducting risk assessments as needed.
• Collaborate continuously with scientific partners and internal business units to expand technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Chemistry with a focus on Organic Chemistry.
• 1‑2 years of post‑doctoral research experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering projects on time.
