Kitchen Stewarding Associate

About the role

The Kitchen Stewarding Associate ensures that all kitchen and dining areas are clean, sanitized, and well‑stocked. Working within a busy hotel environment, you will support the food‑and‑beverage team by maintaining hygiene standards and handling deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
• Wash, disinfect and store kitchen tools, knives, silverware and equipment using proper chemicals.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly and rotate stock.
• Inspect, pull, stack and re‑wash items as needed, ensuring all wares are stored in appropriate areas.
• Break down dirty bus tubs, empty trashcans, and manage recycling and waste disposal.
• Clean and mop assigned department areas, including tables, countertops and floors.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience or supervisory experience needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Capability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
