Assistant Manager Events

About the role

The Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations, assists with menu planning, and ensures high standards of sanitation and service during peak periods. This role focuses on improving guest and employee satisfaction while meeting budgetary and compliance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily shift operations and act as the point of contact in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Ensure all employees have proper supplies, equipment, uniforms, and adhere to restaurant policies and standards.
• Monitor alcohol beverage service to comply with local laws and manage inventory.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Conduct training initiatives, coach staff, and communicate performance expectations.
• Open and close restaurant shifts, manage budgeting targets, and support menu planning.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in food & beverage, culinary, or related fields.
• Or a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
