Kitchen Steward – Morning Shift for Central Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Steward to join our central kitchen team on the morning shift. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, supporting banquet and buffet services, and ensuring all sanitation standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to improve clean‑up efficiency.
• Monitor water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning processes and keep proper documentation.
• Assist with banquet plate‑ups, transport items, and ensure adequate stock for buffet services.
• Provide cooks and kitchen staff with required items and return cleaned equipment to designated locations.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report incidents and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets and uphold confidentiality.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs and communicate clearly with team members.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
