Junior Sales Manager

About the role

Swiggy, India’s leading on‑demand delivery platform, is looking for a Junior Sales Manager to acquire and engage single‑outlet independent restaurants in an assigned city. You will act as the primary partner for these restaurants, helping them grow orders, visibility and customer engagement through consultative, on‑field selling.

Key responsibilities

• Own a defined geographic territory and build strong relationships with restaurant partners.
• Conduct in‑person visits, product demos, ROI analysis and present Swiggy’s value proposition.
• Diagnose partner needs, position Swiggy’s solutions, and manage the full sales lifecycle from pitching to activation and ongoing support.
• Track adoption metrics, troubleshoot growth issues and adjust strategies based on data.
• Own revenue targets, maintain a personal pipeline and monitor conversion rates.
• Maintain detailed trackers using advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Stay updated on restaurant trends, competitive landscape and local market dynamics, feeding insights back to product teams.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the food‑service or on‑demand sector.
• Strong consultative mindset and ability to build lasting partnerships.
• Comfortable with frequent field visits and in‑person meetings (80‑90 per month).
• Data‑driven approach to problem solving and performance tracking.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Google Sheets.
