Junior Electrical Engineer – Power & Energy Project

About the role

SMEC is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a Power and Energy project in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The role focuses on site supervision, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems, supporting senior engineers to ensure project milestones are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and executing electrical works on site.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Coordinate daily activities with senior engineers and contractors.
• Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications and standards.
• Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work activities and material usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in the power and energy sector (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, drawings and testing procedures.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
