Junior Accountant (2-4 yrs experience) – Surat

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations for a client in the health and wellness sector. The role involves managing financial records, statutory compliance, and assisting with reporting and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and post accounting transactions promptly.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling vendor and customer accounts.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
• Support payroll processing in coordination with HR and Finance teams.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Generate MIS reports and financial statements for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles and statutory compliance.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
