Jewelry Quality Control & International Partner Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Jewelry Quality Control & International Partner Coordinator to ensure our premium diamond jewellery meets Tierra’s exacting design, technical and finishing standards. The role bridges our internal teams and overseas production partners, driving quality improvements across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect finished jewellery against 3D drawings, approved samples and product specifications.
• Evaluate design accuracy, dimensions, symmetry, stone setting, polishing, plating and overall craftsmanship.
• Document defects with photos, videos and measurements, and produce clear QC reports.
• Communicate quality issues and corrective actions in English with international partners.
• Follow up on sample revisions, defect corrections and approval timelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Merchandising, Operations and Purchasing to align quality requirements.
• Maintain and update QC checklists, defect libraries and feedback processes.
• Assist in assessing partner capabilities and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in jewellery QC/QA, preferably with fine, diamond or high‑precision pieces.
• Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing stages from CAD interpretation to casting, stone setting, polishing, plating and final inspection.
• Ability to identify technical and aesthetic defects and understand fine‑jewellery quality standards.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to produce detailed QC documentation.
