Jewellery Cashier – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Jewellery Cashier will manage all billing transactions in a luxury jewellery store, ensuring accurate invoicing, secure cash handling and a smooth checkout experience for customers. Working closely with store managers and consultants, the role supports the brand’s high‑end standards and contributes to overall store efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, card, UPI and bank‑transfer payments, generate invoices and receipts for jewellery purchases.
• Verify pricing, discounts, taxes and required approvals according to company policies.
• Maintain daily cash balances, perform cash reconciliation and safeguard financial documents.
• Coordinate with accounting and store management to prepare daily reports and support audits.
• Provide courteous assistance to customers at checkout and address basic billing queries.
• Support jewellery consultants during peak periods to ensure uninterrupted store operations.
• Update POS records accurately, assist with inventory tagging and invoice matching when needed.
