Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Java Software Engineer to join our agile development team. You will work closely with business analysts, product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high‑performance, maintainable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Java applications following best engineering practices.
• Write clean, scalable, reusable code that adheres to coding standards and security guidelines.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Develop and execute unit tests; support integration and system testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement timely fixes.
• Document design specifications, implementation details, and deployment procedures.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and DevOps activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, and maintainability of assigned modules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience in an enterprise or product environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
