Technical Analyst – Document & Workflow Automation

About the role
The Technical Analyst will work within the Document Automation domain of ANZ's Technology division, managing Front Door demand and partnering with product owners, engineers and architects to deliver business value.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse, validate and refine business requirements from Front Door requests.
- Prioritise demand based on business value, strategic alignment, complexity and capacity.
- Support solution analysis, create estimates and assist squad planning.
- Monitor demand pipelines, conduct impact assessments and root‑cause analysis for production issues.
- Maintain traceability between objectives, requests, requirements and delivered solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and facilitate workshops to clarify scope and expectations.
Required profile
- 5+ years experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, Software Engineer or Business Analyst.
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional squads and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to identify dependencies, risks and delivery impacts.
Required skills
- Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
- Document Management and Workflow Automation platforms such as Smart Communications (SmartCOMM), OpenText Exstream (Thunderhead) and Quadient Inspire/Xpression.
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs and enterprise applications.
