Java Microservices Developer – SAP Entitlement Management

About the role

Join a newly established engineering team focused on SAP Entitlement Management. You will design, develop, and maintain Java microservices, REST APIs, and platform integrations that power critical subscription and entitlement capabilities. The role offers the chance to shape cloud‑native services from the ground up while collaborating with engineers, architects, and product experts worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java microservices, REST APIs, and platform integrations.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Write well‑tested, maintainable code and engage in design and code reviews.
• Support automated delivery pipelines and cloud operations using modern DevOps practices.
• Investigate and resolve production issues related to application logic, integrations, databases, messaging, and performance.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and the responsible adoption of AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience developing Java applications with Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Working knowledge of cloud‑native development, microservices, SaaS concepts, and multi‑tenancy.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, JDBC, and performance‑aware data access patterns.
• Familiarity with automated testing, source‑control, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
