IT Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join the IT department of Weaver and Tidwell India LLP. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of software, hardware, and network services for our staff across multiple Indian offices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries via phone, chat, or email.
• Diagnose, test and repair computer hardware, printers, laptops and mobile devices.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and productivity applications.
• Record, track and close support requests using the internal ticketing system.
• Resolve basic LAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity issues.
• Own infrastructure components and ensure service uptime and availability.
• Follow established processes and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of client/server administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with operating systems, network configuration and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Windows environments and basic network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
