IT Support Engineer I (Operations)

About the role

Amazon Operations Technology Services (OTS) is looking for an IT Support Engineer I to deliver high‑quality technical support across a defined geographic area. You will implement solutions, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist global customers while traveling as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local technical projects and initiatives.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and improve processes.
• Provide remote support to global customers.
• Travel within the local or regional area to support sites as required.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience with Windows Server technologies (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• 2+ years PC repair, deployment and liquidation.
• 1+ years delivering IT client, server, and network services.
• 2+ years networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years supporting Windows, macOS, or Linux in a corporate setting.
• 2+ years maintaining a corporate network environment.
