IT Support Engineer I – Amazon Operations

About the role

Amazon Operations Technology Services (OTS) is looking for an IT Support Engineer I to deliver high‑quality technical support across a defined geographic area. You will implement solutions, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist global customers remotely while occasionally traveling to on‑site locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local technical projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Create, maintain, and improve policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and recommend process improvements.
• Provide remote support to global customers and travel within the local or regional area as needed.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 2+ years troubleshooting in multi‑user, high‑availability environments.
• 2+ years of PC repair, deployment, and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years delivering IT client, server, and network services.
• 2+ years of networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years supporting Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
