IT Helpdesk Technician II

About the role

The IT Helpdesk Technician II provides world‑class technical support to global operations, ensuring employees have reliable hardware, software, and network tools. The role blends hands‑on troubleshooting with customer‑focused service and occasional GitLab platform administration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IT support via onsite visits, remote sessions, phone, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex problems and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Configure, test, and install software applications and hardware to company standards.
• Manage IT assets, set up workstations for new hires, and track inventory.
• Resolve user logon and access issues, supporting VPN and remote‑desktop solutions.
• Support and maintain peripheral devices such as scanners, copiers, and printers.
• Provide end‑user training on common software and systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation in IT systems.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Part‑time GitLab platform administration, including group/project management and ticket resolution.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on IT support experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Software troubleshooting (Windows OS, Microsoft Office).
• Hardware troubleshooting and peripheral support.
• Networking basics and VPN configuration.
