About the role
Country Delight is a fast‑growing direct‑to‑consumer food brand in India. We are building reliable, scalable backend systems and need engineers who own what they ship.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise backend services using Python and Django.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs powering consumer‑facing and internal platforms.
- Work with NumPy and Pandas for data processing and reporting pipelines.
- Debug, profile, and improve performance of production systems.
- Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams on scalable architecture decisions.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of backend development experience with Python as the primary language.
- Strong production‑level knowledge of Django.
- Immediate availability or notice period of 15 days or less.
Required skills
- Python, Django, RESTful API design and authentication.
- PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Git and agile team workflows.
- NumPy, Pandas.
- Microservices communication (REST, gRPC, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Docker and Kubernetes (CI/CD pipelines).
