IT Administrator for School IT Infrastructure

About the role

TRINS is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to oversee and support the technology infrastructure of its school campuses. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT services for staff and students across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school’s network, servers, and overall IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Administer user accounts, system access, and enforce data security protocols.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer labs, smart classrooms, and audiovisual equipment.
• Ensure regular data backups and maintain disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and annual maintenance contracts.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures and train staff on IT tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator, preferably within an educational environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train non‑technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond promptly to incidents.
