International Accountant Manager

About the role

Join Skylo, a pioneer in satellite connectivity, to lead international accounting for its global subsidiaries. You will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and consolidation across multiple jurisdictions while partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and compliance for international subsidiaries, aligning local statutory requirements with US GAAP consolidation.
• Ensure timely preparation of statutory financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations for consolidated reporting.
• Support technical accounting for complex international transactions, including transfer pricing and currency translation.
• Nurture relationships with external accounting and audit firms, managing engagement letters, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain compliance calendars to guarantee on‑time filing of all statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with Legal and Regulatory teams on entity structure, tax planning, and cross‑border transactions.
• Leverage NetSuite, FloQast and Ramp to streamline subsidiary accounting operations and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 7+ years of experience managing international subsidiaries or multi‑entity consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local accounting standards (IFRS, India GAAP, etc.).
• Proven experience working with external audit firms across multiple countries.
• Demonstrated project‑management expertise with a track record of meeting complex compliance deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands and resolve regulatory inquiries.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills across time zones.
