Internal Audit Executive – Urgent Opening in Surat

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Executive to join our chartered‑accountancy firm located on Ring Road, Surat. The role is urgent and will involve supporting the audit team in planning, executing and reporting internal audit activities while ensuring compliance with Indian tax and regulatory statutes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing annual internal audit plans and risk‑based audit programs.
• Perform fieldwork, test controls and verify financial records against statutory requirements.
• Prepare clear audit findings, recommendations and follow‑up reports for senior management.
• Monitor compliance with TDS, TCS, GST and Income‑Tax laws.
• Collaborate with accounting and legal teams to resolve identified issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, CA, Inter‑CA, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of legal compliances such as TDS, TCS, GST and Income‑Tax.
• Preferable experience in legal or accounting functions.
• Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with TDS, TCS, GST and Income‑Tax regulations.
